Aroma Bean

Authentic Ethiopian Coffee Beans

A R O M A B E A N is a place where ancient coffee traditions meet modern conscious living. The name itself is inspired from the beautiful aroma of a freshly roasted coffee beans.
Our 100% Arabica coffee beans are mainly from the highlands of Ethiopia from areas such as Sidamo, Yirgacheffe, and Djimmah. In Ethiopia coffee is not just a drink it is a way of life and a reason to socialise.
We are dedicated to celebrating the beautiful coffee ceremony so you can experience it as well.

The knowledge and memories of coffee ceremony I have started from a very young age. Growing up in a community where coffee is enjoyed by almost everyone is incredible. The pre-preparation alone takes about 15 minutes. The coffee beans are hand washed, hand roasted, ground manually and ready to brew with ‘Jebena’ a clay pot coffee maker.
The entire ceremony may take between 30minutes to 1hour. This strong ritual has been practiced for centuries in both Eritrea and Ethiopia. Especially between mothers and adult women sit together and mingle about different topics. They exchange information, arrange functions, helping someone go through grief, networking, giving or asking support, advising a new mum or mother to be.
Many women find it to be therapeutic. This deeply rooted culture of coffee ceremony is still practiced to this day in. I grew up seeing how coffee brings people together and I am proud to share this experience in the cosmopolitan streets of London.

Inspired by the birthplace of coffee we bring the richness of Ethiopian coffee culture to the UK. Our coffee beans are proudly roasted and packed in the UK to ensure fresh quality and care in every cup.
What makes AROMA BEAN different from our competitors is that every cup is passionately preprepared and served with our friendly and experienced staff members who are dedicated to make your experience memorable and extra special.
The traditional coffee making ceremony itself invites people from all walks of life to enjoy the aroma and the elegant pouring of the traditionally brewed coffee right in front of your eyes.
